Sarah Murphy:

Sarah has been surrounding herself with canine organizations and raising service and therapy dogs for many years. She’s attended many different classes and seminars on the different approaches in today’s dog training world. She volunteers her time doing anything from being the President for the Central West End Dog Park Association to taking part in pet first aid and helping with the St. Louis Animal Blood Donor program.

Sarah has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in social work. She soon learned the many similarities from her formal education to that in the dog training industry. Working with canines has come relatively easy for her as she has thrived with putting her experience supporting children and families with severe social, emotional and behavioral issues to use.

She has completed the in depth K9 Guru, LLC. course, “Institute for Canine Knowledge” and has worked along side the Team Dog! STL trainers a great deal to polish her knowledge and techniques. Soon after completion of the course, she was asked to come aboard to help in offering our clients a first rate product. Sarah not only helps out our training department, but she also heads up our sales and promotion & events departments as well. Sarah is owned by her St. Bernard, Nala.  Sarah can be reached at 314-477-4767 or sarah.teamdogstl@live.com

Hillary Wolfe:

Hillary brings her canine knowledge to Team Dog! STL and covers areas West and Northwest of St. Louis.  Hillary can be reached at 314-619-3106 or hillary.teamdogstl@gmail.com

Hillary Wolfe is originally from Tampa FL, where she grew up with her 3 Rottweilers and Pomeranian. At age 12, she began training the family dogs in a community group training class. While in high school, Hillary interned at a veterinary hospital where she was able to observe and participate in surgeries, general vaccinations, and health check-ups. She now enjoys being the owner of Roy, an Australian Shepherd mix.

In 2005 Hillary attended Triple Crown Academy in Austin, Texas, and was certified as a Canine Training and Behavior Specialist. This program covered the science behind how dogs learn, puppy imprinting and socialization, behavior modification techniques, clicker training, agility, basic obedience, and assessing and handling aggression. The program also introduced assistance dog training, search and rescue, and various dog sports: herding, retrieving, flyball, schutzhund, and others. Also while at Triple Crown Hillary attended the police K9 Training Theory and Techniques workshop, a 4-week course where she was able to participate in protection work, tracking, and scent detection work.

Hillary has worked for the last 4 years doing in-home lessons, group classes, and as the on-site obedience trainer at a dog daycare and boarding facility. She is a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals. Her latest accomplishments include completing the “Intro to Team Dog! STL- Training Approaches & Theories,” and being invited on board as a part of Team Dog! STL. Hillary looks forward to working with an excellent, experienced team, and helping to offer a great service to an even larger audience in St. Louis.
